g'day all, Smiley

well i thought i would share you pics of my rusty rambler spares car....bit sad Sad.....considering ..it is a really rare car in australia factory V8 RHD  auto.....not many  rambler wagon saw  the aussie roads,had stiff competition from   the locally made GM holden,Ford, chrysler ... i have never seen a rambler rust as bad as this considering they were gal dipped...maybe it was built on a  "friday afternoon car prior a long weekend" Roll Eyes

That really is bad.  IIRC AMC only dipped the body half way into the solution.

 g'day
i really think that this rambler missed the dip!,the firewall is rusted thru the engine bay,the bonnent hinge has rusted off the frame! the taigate skin actually fell off, i picked it up from the ground and threw it in the car,the inner frame of the tailgate  is still attached to the car! Shocked no hope for this car,other people would have crushed it :'(,  the car is actually very straight no dings/original paint...but rust! :oisaved it just for the parts....till then it can sit in my back yard and blend in with the trees!

went back today to my farm(ranch) ....had a look at my spare parts  rambler wagon, its rustin away to nothing!!!
anyone want a serious project or rat rod !!! Grin

yeh , wots the saying ...rust never sleeps!!!! Grin
found a pic of the glove box lid....even it is rusted !!!!  :oand yep it fell off due  to the rust!!!! Shocked...

its not a rat rod...but a rust rod Cheesy
