Listed in the 1982 AMC Dealer Directory as a Jeep-only franchise. Apparently
Holiday AMC/Renault
took care of the other lines in Amarillo. A nice looking script from eBay:

In the winter of 1977/78, my Dad and I were moving a load from Arkansas to Arizona via I-10, and lost a wheel bearing on my trailer, on the outskirts of Amarillo. Sid Stout Jeep provided the bearing free of charge, and I can still remember how miserable I was at 16, changing the wheel bearing in the mud, slush and snow on the shoulder of the Interstate, around 20 degrees out and windy.
