After visiting McDonald AMC Jeep, I traveled to Hickory Pa to take in Corwin AMC Jeep, Rt 50, Hickory Pa. This is a 10 mile trip by the roads, probably 5 miles in a straight line, from McDonald AMC Jeep. They are currently a Jeep Chrysler dealership, although I didn't see any new Chryslers. Corwin claims to be the oldest Jeep dealer in the world, since 1945. The first pic is of the front of the building, second is the side, & last is a door on the side of the building with some interesting stickers. One of the stickers says "AMC Eagle offical car of the US Ski Patrol". This dealership is still open, with lots of new Jeeps in the lot across the street. I did walk all the way to the rear of the lot, hoping to find an old AMC or two, but no such luck. Inside the showroom is a '50 or so Willys Jeep wagon! This dealer is about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. I remember they had a big name in the area, but I was never past it when it was an AMC dealer.  www.corwinjeep.com

Not a large dealership is it?  I have an NOS ski patrol sticker around here somewhere.

The building in the pictures is the showroom & office I think. They had a new Jeep on the floor, & the '50 Willys. Behind the showroom & over a hill is a large newer building that I am guessing is their shop. Across the street is a fairly large lot for new & used cars, & another large garage. I looked in the windows of the garage, there was some sort of large '40 truck in there, & lots of big boxes.

LOL!!! I'd like to dream that's what was in there, but I know we're not that lucky. Smiley There was an identicle box outside that I checked out, the parts tag said it was a Jeep hardtop. A few years ago I did a part # search using an online parts finder (partsvoice???) & Corwin came up as having in stock some late '70's engine oil supplement cans in stock.  If I'm ever in the area when they're open I'll have to stop & see what they have.
