Here is the dealership I work at now.  Its called TandT Jeep as of today.  GM took the Pontiac-Buick franchise away.  This is the place that sold AMC's under the AandT name until AMC went away.  They became an AMC dealer in 79, the building has not changed or been painted since then

The first picture is the front from the main street the show room holds one vehicle.
The second is off the side street shows parking from the shop and another entrance to the show room.
The third shot is the back door to the shop along with my SX/4.
I hope to add two more dealerships soon.

Great update! A & T was listed in the 1982 Dealer Directory at 1015 Bluefield Ave. I went ahead and added the AMC dealer name to your heading, hope that's OK.  Smiley

That's fine, I was having so much trouble uploading the pictures I started to just say the h--- with it.  I hope they can make as a Jeep only dealer.  The A stood for Alex Ercoline and the T was for Tullio Ramella.  Its now andT and Tullio is the owner along with his son.

I'd hate to be a single line dealership these days. I thought I heard that Chrysler was trying to make all of their stores multi-line with Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. Maybe this has been abandoned, as bad as things are right now.

That is/was the plan, I guess now depending on what happens in the merger.  GM only wants to keep minivans and Jeep and sell the rest off.  Nissan offered cash for Chrysler, but Cerebus wants to trade Chrysler for the remaining stock in GMAC that they own 49% of.  All they want is a money maker, they also own CHRYSLER

Now GM just recently snatched those away, IIRC?

I read in the Automotive News today that the banks backing the GMCHRYSLER merger now do not have the money to go through with the deal.  A spokesman for Cerebus stated they may sell off in parts, take and offer from Nissan or they is a possibility that a Chinese company may bid for Chrysler.  They stated that MOPAR could be sold by itself much like GM did ACDELCO years ago and Delphi recently.  With Nissan, Renault would like to get back in the US market.  Renault couln't make it work but Nissan has been sucessful and understands the US, the French don't have a clue.

This past AMC/JEEP dealer is no more.  After loosing the Buick and Pontiac, the dealership was one of the 789 that Chrysler dropped.  All cars are gone and their website is no longer.  The last time I talked to anyone May was to be their last month.  They had been a GM dealer since the early 60's in a town called Northfork, WV before moving to Bluefield.  The real bad thing is, I have worked at 7 dealerships since 89 and they are all closed.
