"while looking up Key American on Steven Clark’s 1983 AMC master dealership list, we came across the above nameplate from “Bob Dilmore’s Key American.” You’d think a nameplate like that would have been a golden opportunity to cast it in the shape of a key.

Anyway, the dealership was still around in 1983, and from the address of 8301 Lomas Blvd. N.E., we can determine that the site is still a dealership, though it’s home to Garcia Honda nowadays. Still, from the proximity of the building to the road, maybe Key American’s building still stands at the core of Garcia Honda?"

That's a name I remember from the boneyards around Arizona and California.  They did have a chrome foil sticker at one point that was shaped like the key on the sign.
