This particular forum is intended to be family-friendly, in the hopes of bringing new people into the AMC and related hobbies.  We are unlikely to interest a new generation of hobbyists, if their parents won't let them read our forum.

Our rules at the moment are laid out along two main lines:

1) Family Friendly Atmosphere-  This is first and foremost among our rules.

Remember that children may be reading what you write. In this place, adults are expected to act like adults.  Remember rules of behaviour from other places you may have visited, like Churches, Museums, Schools, Courts, or your Code of Conduct in the Military.

2) Relevance to the topic at hand.  This Forum potentially can end up generating huge amounts of information, and we want to make sure that it is accurate, and pertains to the topic being discussed.

Anytime you are unsure whether or not a message will apply to a topic you are reading, simply post it in the Lounge's General Discussion area, with a mention that you weren't sure if it would fit in with what you were reading, along with the name of the topic.

The staff will make every attempt to determine quickly whether it is relevant to the discussion, move it out of the General area to the relevant subject, and notify you where your reply has been placed.

If the post is not placed back into the discussion for which it was intended, a short explanation will tell you why.

Any member is free to send a Personal Message at any time, for any reason, to the administrators.  Your writing there will not be censored or repeated, and if you request, the subject matter will not be disclosed either.

Please enjoy yourself, and respect each other's time here.
